CORDAID Vacancy for Aceh

CORDAID (The Netherlands) an international aid organization, is assisting the government in the reconstruction of schools in Simeulue and reconstruction of 1,100 houses, water supply, sanitation and other infrastructural works in Seunoddon, Aceh Utara district. CORDAID is seeking highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the following positions:
Senior Civil Engineers
with Project Management Experiences to oversee the reconstruction of 60 schools on the Simeulue island.
Qualifications:
1. The candidate will liause between consulting architects, contractors, school management comittees, local government, departments and the Cordaid Project Management.
2. The candidate must hold a degree in civil engineering or equivalent with at least 6 years experience in the building industry (architect or construction company) in supervising and managerial position.
3. The candidate must have up to date knowledge of the Indonesian tender procedures, contract procedures, and building regulations.
4. The candidate will be based in Sinabang and be willing and able to travel extensively to the different building sites on the island.
5. The candidate mus hold valid driving licences for cars and motorcycles.
6. The candidate must be good in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and in reporting skills (computer literate) and communication standards.
7. Familiar with NGO is an advantage.
